Do NOT vaccinate for Leptospirosis!!! Toy breed puppies have a high tendency for a dangerous reaction, and the chance of an indoor Maltese pet of getting sick from the illness are slim. The risk is far greater than the benefit. Tell your vet NO!
When you come to take your puppy home I will talk to you about how important it is to protect your puppy from canine illnesses until all vaccines are complete. Todays most deadly virus to young puppies is the Parvo Virus. I am including links below for you to educate yourselves about an illness that has killed too many puppies.
